Any venture "out the Gate" is weather dependent so when conditions looked poor for our planned cruise to Drake's Bay, Charmaine Moore suggested we head to Petaluma instead.  We all agreed and five tugs, Buoy Toy, Emiko, Orion, Riley and Sea Dog enjoyed a delightful cruise up the Petaluma River arriving at the D Street Bridge in time for a scheduled 1:00 p.m. opening.  Another bridge opening at 5:00 p.m. produced the Three Jeans, and the American Tug "Annie."
Since as we had provisioned for anchoring out in Drake's, dinner Tuesday night was "on our own."  The Shebles couldn't be with us so, on a moment's notice, Steve Cuff organized the traditional BBBB for Wednesday morning. We all pitched in and the wonderful boiled bag breakfast would have made Bud and Pam proud!  Wednesday provided ample opportunity to enjoy walking, shopping, kayaking, solving tug problems and generally having a good time!
A dinner at the excellent Semolina restaurant has become an SFBANTA tradition, so there we headed Wednesday night for yet another fine meal, followed by lots of post-repast camaraderie aboard the Annie and the Three Jeans.

Thursday morning arrived all too soon, and we departed for our home ports.  Many thanks to Jim Moore for planning and organizing a fine summer cruise!

Bud's Boiled Bag Breakfast (BBBB)  - even when Bud isn't there to keep a watchful eye on the preparations!  Steve Cuff filled in to make it happen and our inhouse ZAGAT clothed food contributor and fellow tugger Linda Farris was on hand to add some class to the event.
